MAN entered the Indian commercial vehicles segment in the year 1958 with the supply of the legendary Shaktiman trucks to the Ministry of Defence in India. In 2006, MAN Trucks India started its operations as a joint venture and finally became a wholly owned subsidiary of MAN Truck and Bus AG (Germany) in 2012. MAN provides technologically sound products that guarantee high quality and cost effectiveness. MAN’s front engine bus chassis is specifically designed for Indian roads and offer solutions for high capacity passenger transportation. The company has its dealerships and service centers spread across several cities in India.
